🎮 What Is Wemos D1 Mini
The Wemos D1 Mini is a small and inexpensive development board based on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. It is designed to be easy to use and ideal for Internet of Things (IoT) projects. The Wemos D1 Mini features a powerful microcontroller that allows you to connect your project to a Wi-Fi network and interact with various sensors and modules.
We offer a board similar to this called the Wemos D1 Mini that is much smaller in size and breadboard-compatible. Note: The D1 R2 is a 3.3V device. If you connect it to 5V digital sensors or devices you may need a logic-level converter such as our 4-channel or 8-channel logic-level converter modules.

Wemos D1 clone: digitalRead is unreliable. ESP8266 Wemos D1 Mini. You have not supplied any information in that “diagram” concerning how your motor and ESC is being powered. It looks to me like you are getting interference from the motor. Try a 1K external pull up resistor on each switch input, and look to fit more power supply decoupling.
On a Wemos D1 mini GPIO0 is also labeled D3 but there is no FLASH button. On the D1, the pin label depends on the board version. You can find the schematic on the Wemos website.
A Wemos D1 mini looks like this. Most are cheap clones these days. ESP flasher: https://web.esphome.io/ Final result after adding WLAN creds: To test the install, the web tools include a serial log viewer - start flashing again, but select LOGS to see a live terminal (hit the D1 reset button to see from the start).
Power to the Wemos D1 Mini is supplied via the on-board USB Micro B connector or directly via the “VIN” pin. The power source is selected automatically. The device can operate on an external supply of 6 to 20 volts. If using more than 12V, the voltage regulator may overheat and damage the device. The recommended range is 7 to 12 volts."
Wemos D1 mini review In this video we are going to take a first look at the Wemos D1 mini board. The new impressive ESP8266 based board. It is very small in size, very inexpensive but very powerful! If you have watched some of my previous videos you will remember that I recently tested the […]

I've tried the same sketch on a few Wemos D1 Minis and a couple of NodeMCU boards. When using ESP8266WiFi library Version 2.4.2, they all compile, upload to the ESP, and connect to the WiFi. When using ESP8266WiFi library Version 2.5.0 or later, none of them connect to the WiFi.
